Sales Positions

IBM Server and Storage Sales

LOCATIONS: Washington, Oregon, Texas, Open

Manage Inc. is looking for experienced Server and Storage Salespeople to develop new business in midmarket commercial accounts. You will be able to sell a wide range of products, applications and services offered by Manage Inc. and our partners including POWER Systems, System x, and Storage from IBM, IT solutions from Microsoft, Cisco, Barracuda, VMWare, and others.

You'll be able to generate strong annuity streams from sales of Manage Inc. cloud services, ERP software hosting, IBM Cloud Services, IBM Global Services, Google Cloud services, managed technicalservices contracts, e-business applications, and much more. If you enjoy a dynamic workplace, value independence and flexible scheduling, and are a self-starter who performs in the top 10%, then Manage Inc. may be a good fit for you.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 or more years successful experience selling information technology solutions from IBM, HP, Sun, NetApp, Microsoft or other.
  • Candidates should have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, building an account base, and managing accounts for maximum client satisfaction.
  • A closer with existing customer contacts and ability to tap a warm existing client base.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong listening skills with the ability to map technology solutions to solve a customer's most critical business requirements
  • Excellent customer service and account management skills
  • Proven ability in information technology sales is required
  • History of strong technology sales performance; achievement over quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
  • Strong prospecting and lead development skills
  • Ability to produce at least $300,000 GP annually
  • Current IT vendor Sales Certifications from IBM, H-P, NetApp, Microsoft, VMWare or other preferred
  • Local to Pacific Northwest or Texas, remote offices and other territories considered for the right candidate.
  • Self-motivated, highly driven, and a strong communicator.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong understanding of ROI sales process

Manage Inc. is looking for an experienced Software Salesperson to develop new business in commercial accounts. Your focus will be on selling IBM software products, with a secondary goal of cross-selling other Manage Inc. and partner products and services. Your territory will be open, and Manage Inc. will support the right candidate wherever you may reside.   • 2+ years successful inside or outside sales experience with IBM Corporation or an IBM Business Partner selling IBM Software (Collaboration, Messaging, Information Management, Analytics, or other).
  • Candidates should have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, building an account base, and managing accounts for maximum client satisfaction.
  • History of producing over $1M in annual revenue.
  • A closer with existing customer contacts and ability to tap a warm existing client base

Technical Positions

JAVA Programmer

LOCATIONS: Washington, Oregon, Open

Manage Inc is seeking a Java Programmer to join our team of talent at our office in Seattle, Washington or in our Portland office. If you have development experience with Java, Servlets, EJB's, HTML, XML, Javascript, JSP, SQL, DB2, System i, Eclipse or Netbeans IDE's, we want to hear from you!

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Analyze, design, code, test and deploy new features/modules for existing Java application(s)in a current customer base.
  • Administer and support production application. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Interface with other team members for database, ERP, server/OS and network support.
  • Manage time effectively to meet defined timelines.
  • Create and maintain operational, configuration, and/or other technical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years development experience with Java, Servlets, EJB's, Html, Xml, Javascript, JSP, DB2, SQL, Eclipse or Netbeans IDEs
  • Experience administering and monitoring Java applications on IBM Websphere
  • One to two years development experience with JSF
  • Experience w/ configuration tools like CVS, build management tools like Ant or Maven, and bug tracking tools like Bugzilla
  • Ajax integration experience is a plus
  • Websphere development and web services experience are pluses
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Willingness and determination to learn and think independently
  • Strong leadership and organization skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or MIS is a plus.
